Antonio Cuevas Jr.
Funeral Director and Co-Owner
Tony was raised in Southern California and began his journey in the funeral profession at just 19 years old. Starting by assisting with services, he quickly developed a deep respect for the field and a passion for helping families during life’s most difficult moments. This calling led him to pursue a career as a licensed funeral director.
In 2009, Tony successfully passed the funeral director examination and became licensed. Through years of hands-on experience, he developed a compassionate, service-driven approach centered on dignity, respect, and personalized care for every family he serves.
Tony later had the opportunity to return to his hometown of Fontana, where he continued supporting families in the community that helped shape who he is today.
In 2012, Tony took the next step in his journey by co-founding Sunset Funeral Care alongside his business partner, Jenny. Today, he remains dedicated to serving families with compassion, integrity, and a heartfelt commitment to the community he calls home.

Jennifer Vannatter
Funeral Director, Embalmer and Co-Owner
Jenny wanted to be a funeral director from the time she was nine years old. Growing up next door to a funeral home always drew her attention to the field. After high school, Jenny wrote a letter to all of the mortuaries in her town offering her time as a volunteer at night and on the weekends.
Arlington Mortuary in Riverside was so touched by the letter that they called her in for an interview and hired her to direct funeral services—with pay! After a year at Arlington, they offered her a position as an apprentice embalmer and worked with her schedule so that she could attend Cypress College® and major in Mortuary Science.
Jenny's School Years and Association Involvement
Jenny attended Southern California's only Mortuary College in Cypress, CA. During school, Jenny was vice president of her class and received scholarships from Orange Belt and California Funeral Directors Association, so she started volunteering her time on their boards and committees. After serving on the board for two years for Orange Belt Funeral Directors Association, she was asked to serve as their vice president and went on to serve as president 2006-2007. She is currently on the Board of Directors.
After two years as a committee member for California Funeral Directors Association, she was voted to serve on the Board of Directors. In 2009, she was voted by her peers as the California Funeral Directors Association Young Funeral Director of the Year. She is currently serving as a committee member.
Beginning the New Venture in 2012
After serving the Redlands community for over 7 years as a funeral director and embalmer at Emmerson Bartlett, Jenny was excited to continue her journey by opening up her own funeral home in the town that she adores. She loves Redlands and is a proud Redlands resident.

Breanna S.
Funeral Arranger
Breanna began as a funeral arranger in December of 2020 and has been working in the industry ever since. During her time working at local mortuaries, she has been proud to help in many aspects of the funeral home. She has prepared loved ones for viewing, directed services, helped file death certificates, transported loved ones from hospitals, and assisted families in planning at-need arrangements. She looks forward to obtaining her funeral director's license in the near future, and learning Cal-IVRS, California's death certificate registration system, and one day getting her pre-need license.
During her time as a funeral arranger, she has received recognitions for her organizational skills, excellence in customer service, and even an award for "MVP" in 2025. Breanna's focus in the funeral home is making sure that her families have the best care for their loved one - whether that be personalizing their memorial folders, making sure their urn is just right, or simply making sure that the family feels at ease, despite the challenging times they face.
When she is away from the funeral home, Breanna likes riding her bicycle, getting coffee at the many local shops downtown, and playing pool.
