Obituary

Stepan Dyachenko, born January 5th, 1938 in Tysmenytsya, Ukraine, to parents Anna Voskobiynyk and Yakiv Dyachenko, both of Tysmenytsya, Ukraine.
Stepan grew up in Tysmenytsya with his family, brother Dmytro and sister Pasha.
After attending Tysmenytsya High School, Stepan continued his education at the Institute of Oil and Gas in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, receiving his Bachelor's Degree.
After serving 3 years as a Captain in the Military, he became an Engineer at "Inductor" Military Plant in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
In 1969, he married the love of his life, Lyubov Zhurakiuska in their home town of Tysmenytsya. They soon were blessed with the first of two children, daughter Ivanna on February 13, 1970, followed by their second daughter, Zoryana, January 3rd, 1975.
Stepan was a Loving Father, Caring Grandfather, dedicated and willing to sacrifice for his family. He enjoyed walking outdoors , singing in the church choir, gardening, and was always in great spirit, energetic, full of optimism even in the light of cancer. Stepan Dyachenko was a true fighter who taught his children to never give up.
Stepan will be missed greatly by all whose lives he touched and loved.
