Roy Edward Vineyard passed away Thursday, October 24th, 2019 in the city of Palm Springs.
Roy was born in Detroit Michigan to parents Thelma (Hobbs) of Ontario Canada, and Joseph Vineyard of Tennessee.
Roy met and married the love of his life Iris Davidson Alberta on July 17, 1976 in New Liskeard Ontario Canada.
Together they had Les (Catherine), Linda (Monica), Laurie (Larry), Rick (Pauline), Rheal, Candace (Joe), Shon (Brenna), and Tawnee (Henry)
Roy had 4 sisters; Jan (Marty) Carol (Don) Kathy (Wilf) and Joan (Doug)
and 3 brothers; Joe (Debbie), Rick (Mary), and Jim (Delores).
Roy worked for Lyle Parks Jr for over 30 years.
He received a merit award in 1966 for his Carpentry Apprenticeship. He also received a plaque from Mervyn's in recognition for his partnership and support of the 1994 Northridge Earthquake recovery.
Roy is predeceased by his mother Thelma, father Joe, 2 brothers, Gar and John, 1 son and daughter in law, Rob and Tara, 1 daughter, Sherry. He is survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
