Obituary

Ronald Harry Swing passed away Friday, January 10th, 2020 in the city of Redlands. Born to parents Helen M. Rhynus and Harry L. Swing of Poughkeepsie, New York on June 8th, 1930.
On November 1, 1948, Ronald joined the Marines, serving until April 1, 1952.
Ronald later attended CSUF in 1968. He was a member of NCCB, ACB, and Capitol Pops of Sacramento. He enjoyed Bicycle Riding, and Touring on is bike. He also played the French Horn.
He met and married his wife Jo Ann O'Bannon on December 24th, 1979.
He is preceded in death by his wife JoAnn, parents, his sister Evelyn in 1968, and his daughter Karen in 1958.
Ronald was a Police Officer for the City of Anaheim before becoming a school teacher, from which he retired from after 25 years.
Ronald is survived by his daughter Lisa Swing, granddaughter Amy Green, step sons Patrick O'Bannon, Michael O'Bannon, and step daughter Erin Hendricks
He will join his wife in their final resting place at Sierra Memorial Lawn in Nevada City California.
