Rickey Loren Weatherwax, 75, of Riverside California, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. He was born on April 1, 1950, in Anaheim, CA to the late P. Loren and Betty Jane Weatherwax.

Rick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose faith, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him. He married the love of his life, Christine Sorsdahl and together they shared 51 years of marriage. Working in the citrus industry for most of his life, he retired after 45 years of service.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Christine, his five children and spouses: Jeremy (Kerrin), Shawna (Mike), Eric (Nicole), Christi, and Justin (Xoie). He was the proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren, one of whom preceded him in death, the cherished great-grandfather of two great-grandchildren, with one more blessing on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his three siblings Ronald, Judy and Danny.

Rick will be remembered for his unconditional love for his family, his gentle spirit, and his sense of humor.
A grave side service celebrating Rick's life will be held on October 20, 2025, at 10:45 AM at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
