With great sadness the Wright family said good-bye to Ray on November 21. 2013 in Loma Linda, California.
Ray was born on June 25, 1945 in Aurora, Nebraska to Duane and Dorothy Wright. Ray married the love of his life, Betty, on July 31, 1965 and shortly thereafter joined the United States Marines. After serving his country, Ray and Betty went on to start a family. First with daughter Christine and then welcoming son Eric (E.J.). They loved spending time together as a family, whether camping or cheering on the kids as they raced motocross. Ray was a plumber for 48 years and eventually opened his own business, B.R.E.C. Plumbing, where he served the communities of Riverside and Orange County.
Ray will be so dearly missed by his wife, who stood by his side for 48 years, Betty; His children Christine Eyres (Tim) and granddaughter Mackenzie Rae and step-grandson Chase of Coto de Caza, CA, Eric Wright (Jenny) and step-granddaughters Hayley and Bella of Perris, Ca; His siblings: Sharon Heit, Betty (Bob Getty) Parmelee, Larry (Judy) Wright, Rita (Mike) Callon; his nieces and nephews from both California, Oregon and Arizona; and so many friends, colleagues and neighbors.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 29th, 2013 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Arlington Chapel, 9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, California, with Graveside Services following at 2:16 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California.
