Lorenzo M Rangel was born August 10, 1952 in Juarez, Mexico to Esperanza Gutierrez Rangel and Antonio Rangel. Lorenzo passed away February 8, 2022 in Colton, California.
Lorenzo attended Van Nuys High School in 1970 and attended one year of law school. He married Christina Luna in 1973 and had two daughters: Lorenza and Eleanor.
Lorenzo supported his family by his work at Southern California Gas and during his lifetime he was a member of the Diocese of San Bernardino as an MFI Instructor and was RCIA instructor at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, San Salvador and Immaculate Conception churches as a lector, usher and Eucharistic minister. He also volunteered at LA Marathon, the Special Olympics of Los Angeles (2015), Turkey and Toy drive. He was a part of the Religious Education Congress.
He will be so very missed by his children Eleanor Rangel (William) and Lorenza Rangel (Israel); grandchildren: Raymond S. Flores Jr, Simon Rangel, Armando Devora and Brianna A Devora and a great grandson Elton R Rangel; Siblings: Maria, Antonio, Virginia and Lupe. Lorenzo was pre deceased by his parents and his brother Roy.
