Obituary

In Loving Memory of Leslie Earl Gibboney
Beloved Husband, Devoted Father, Faithful Brother, and Friend to All
Leslie Earl Gibboney passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a man of deep convictions, gentle patience, and unwavering devotion to his family and to the Lord.
Leslie is survived by his cherished wife of 40 beautiful years, Susan, whose love and companionship were the heart of his world. Their bond was an example of enduring love, filled with laughter, faith, and countless shared moments. He was the proud and loving father of Glen, Neil, and Joal—each of whom carry his values, humor, and compassionate spirit. Leslie was also a loving brother, whose warmth and loyalty blessed his family in countless ways.
A man of faith, Leslie lived his life with humility and grace. His relationship with the Lord guided every step he took, and his gentle spirit was a reflection of Christ's love in action. Whether offering a listening ear, a kind word, or a helping hand, Leslie lived each day with purpose and integrity.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: the twirl of a country dance, a cold root beer float on a warm day, and the satisfying crash of pins at the end of a bowling lane. An excellent bowler and lover of a good two-step, Leslie knew how to make everyday moments memorable. These joys weren't just hobbies—they were expressions of his joyful heart.
Leslie will be remembered for his unshakable patience, his quiet humor, and the deep love he gave so freely to his family. He was a steady presence, a calming voice, and a source of comfort and strength to all who knew him.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we rejoice in knowing Leslie is now home with the Lord he loved so dearly. His legacy of faith, kindness, and love lives on in his family, his friends, and all the lives he touched.
Until we meet again, dear Leslie—may you rest in peace, and may your memory be a blessing always.

After service there will be a taco truck on the property for people who are interested. We will have it outside of the church, since the sunshine will be shining brightly, and we will have tables and chairs for those who want to partake. My husband, Les loved everybody and he was a very good man and he loved the Lord, very much too.
We will have wonderful fellowship and memories and love shared with each other. He brought a lot of humor and love to our congregations and to our loved ones and family.
