Obituary

Lance D. Arnegard was born on March 3, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK to Howard Arnegard and Helen (Demoplos) Arnegard. He left his physical body on April 22, 2015 after surgery at Redlands Community Hospital. Survivors include his sister, Valerie (Arnegard) Underwood and her husband, Jeff, of Fairborn, OH; his Aunt Jane (Mrs. Don Arnegard) of Redlands, CA; cousins Mark Arnegard of Flagstaff, AZ and David Arnegard and family of Foster City, CA and all of the family of Bill Lough of San Bernardino including his precious Tasha Zacharko. After completing his schooling in the Putnam City Public Schools of Oklahoma City, he came to Redlands in 1978 to work with his Uncle Don in the Inland Empire Plumbing and Septic System business. The loves of his life were fishing, bowling and his two dogs, Mickey and Minnie. While a long-term resident of Redlands, it was in his later years that he found his "home" in the City of Highland working in the City's Public Works department. He was named the City of Highland Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Year for 2010. A Celebration of Lance's Life was held on May 1, 2015 at his favorite park, Aurentia Park in Highland. Lance would want to be remembered by donations made to any favorite pet or pet rescue charities.
