Obituary

Judy was born in San Bernardino, CA, and lived her entire life in Southern California. She grew up in East Highlands surrounded by the orange groves where her father worked.

As a teen, Judy attended Redlands High School and graduated in 1961. She was also in the Miss Redlands pageant that same year.

In September, 1961, she married Grover Furlow and they went on to have two rotten children, Beth and Patrick. Though Judy and Grover later divorced, they remained close until Grover's passing in 2011.

Judy worked for several years at the Packing House Antique Mall with her sister, Ruth, and her brother-in-law, John Crotinger. She loved learning about antiques from all of the vendors there.

Later Judy worked as an admin assistant in the Registrar's Office at the University of Redlands. She was there for many years and was very proud to be part of the university. She maintained close friendships with many of her coworkers there even after she retired.

In the last years of her life, Judy enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and especially loved all the kids in the neighborhood. Judy lived in the same house for over 50 years and had many close friendships with her neighbors.

It was Judy's wish to be at home, and it was there that she passed peacefully with both of her children with her. She will be missed very much.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's name to the American Cancer Society or Dementia Society of America would be greatly appreciated.
