Joanne Kathleen Glasner, 84 years old, of Redlands, CA, passed away on April 2, 2023, at Redlands Community Hospital. She was born on January 22, 1939, in San Francisco, CA. She graduated from Sodality of Our Blessed Lady in 1947. She loved to camp, backpack, and travel when she was not taking care of her younger siblings. She met her husband, Norman Molaug, and moved to Sunnyvale, CA, where they adopted their first child and then had a child every couple of years for six years. And then, they moved to Southern California. The two would take the kids on backpacking trips throughout the mountains, with the youngest on their backs. They then progressed to motor home trips, where they would travel with the family across the United States. She made and decorated cakes for her friends and the kid's birthdays. They were as beautiful as if bought in a bakery, only with more love poured into them.

She raised their four children while working as a medical transcriptionist, and after the kids were older, she worked in the front office for several doctors. Later she became a teacher of phlebotomy. In addition, she did volunteer work sewing clothes and quilts for those in need.

She is survived by three children: Mark Molaug, Troy Molaug, and Dawn Torrez; two siblings: Ethel Flores and George Glasner; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her parents preceeded her in death: John Glasner, Kathleen Kaufman, stepfather Henry Kaufman, and her third son Michael Molaug.
