Obituary

James (Jim) Edward Stowe
February 22, 1954 – July 30, 2025

James Edward Stowe, beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 71.

Jim was a man who found peace and purpose in the great outdoors. He loved spending time in the mountains fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring wherever the path led. He had a deep appreciation for history and was full of random facts and knowledge that he enjoyed sharing. His curiosity and quiet wisdom left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Over the years, Jim worked as a professional painter, contributing his skill to projects including the historic Hotel del Coronado in San Diego and the University of California Riverside. Later, he became a long-haul truck driver, hauling explosives, vehicles, and a wide range of cargo across the country. He received multiple awards for his safety and service, reflecting his dedication and professionalism on the road.

He is survived by his five children: daughters Ashley, Kimberly, and Michelle; sons Brandon and Robert; and sisters Rhonda Louden and his twin sister Judy Stowe. Jim's legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply.

Jim will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, sense of humor, sharp wit, kind heart, and the unique way he saw the world. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
