James went on to Eternity to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 25th 2017 at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, California. He was 79 years old. James along with his wife made Redlands their permanent residence and home upon his retirement in 1986. Both are faithful members of The Rock Church and World Outreach Center for 25 years. James was born to Matthew and Beatrice Mosley in Bullard Texas on May 18th 1937. He proudly served 30 years (1956-1986) in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in 1986. He also worked Civil Service at George AFB as a Flight Simulator Instructor for 7 years and then with Loma Linda Mental health up to his retirement age of 62. James siblings include: Ethel, Emma, Pearlie, Calena, Lessie, Verna, Curtis, Estelle, and William Sherman, (all deceased), surviving siblings Helen and Booker T. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and many relatives from his siblings. James is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Mosley and their 5 children Vince and Pauline, Tonya, Nadine, Gerard and Irina, Curtiss and Angela along with 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Brother and Sister in law Mike and Rita Proctor and family.
James L Mosley's viewing services will be held on Friday May 12th 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at the Redlands Church of Christ, 1000 Roosevelt Road, Redlands, and Ca. 92374.
On Monday May 15th 2017 Church services will be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the Rock Church and World Outreach Center, 2345 S Waterman Ave, San Bernardino, Ca 92518. Final Resting place will be at 2:00pm at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, and Ca. 92518.
