With deep sorrow and eternal love, we announce the passing of Gregoria Talpe Gonzales, affectionately known as "Glory," who peacefully joined her Creator at the age of 74.


Born on May 9, 1951, in the beautiful town of Lucban, Quezon, Glory later married the love of her life, Rogelio O. Gonzales. Together, they built a loving home in his hometown of Villasis, Pangasinan, where they embraced the simple and fulfilling life of farming. They lovingly raised four children: Filipina (Fhil), Liwayway (Liway), Mirasol (Mira), and Rogelio Jr. (Jojo). Glory was a proud and devoted mother and grandmother, enriching the lives of her eight grandchildren with her warm presence and nurturing spirit.


After becoming a widow in 2007, she made the courageous decision to move to the United States in 2012 to join her eldest daughter, Fhil. Though far from her native home, she remained connected to her roots, faithfully returning to the Philippines each year to visit her other children.


Life in the U.S. was different, but she found a new rhythm and simple joys. Her days often included walks to nearby places like McDonald's and Walmart. At home, she stayed busy cooking, cleaning, and tending to the backyard, always with a glass of her favorite cold tea waiting for her. In the evenings, she would unwind in front of the TV, captivated by her favorite Filipino soap operas. Her days were never dull.


In 2021, during the challenges of the pandemic, Glory began her journey with Alzheimer's dementia. True to her nature, she faced the illness with incredible bravery, exceeding expectations and giving her family more years of grace, love, and treasured memories.


Glory will forever be remembered for her cheerful heart, endless patience, and deep faith in God. She believed in the goodness of others and always supported the ideas and dreams of those she loved. Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and loving presence will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
