Obituary

Frank Wiley: Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully due to complications related to Alzheimer's Disease on July 1, 2014.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, he graduated with high honors and received a Bachelor's and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah. While in college he was part of Phi Keppa Phi, Tau Beta Pi and Sigma X1. He worked his entire career of 42 years in the computer industry and held various patents in the field of Digital Circuits and Systems and he was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He held various patents in the field of Digital Circuits and Systems.

He served in the US Navy in World War II and participated in the Atomic Bomb tests of 1946 in the Marshall Islands. He was an Aviation Radio Technician 2nd Class.

Frank played the piano and french horn, he loved classical music and to dance.

He is survived by his wife of exactly 65 years, Stella; children: Mike , Brian, Dale and Dawn; grandchildren: Jennifer Shear, Joe Wiley, Alison Wiley, Michelle Wiley, Kimberly Wiley and Bret Fimiani; Great Grandchildren: Kayla Shear, Austin Shear, August Fimiani and Miles Fimiani. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings: Francis Wiley who passed away in 2011 and Zoe WIley Brown who passed away in 2005.
