Obituary

Baldemar Noe Guzman, age 65, passed Friday December 15th, 2017 at 3:56pm unexpectedely at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Baldemar is survived by mother Maria Guzman, wife Jane Willhide, as well as five children: Eric Noe Guzman, Ellen Marie Guzman,
Noe Baldemar Guzman II, Jeremy Been, and Jennifer Cutforth.
Additionally, his seven grandchildren: Ahlias Ezekial Calderon, Carmen Guzman, Noe Baldemar Guzman III, Sianna Garcia, Orion Garcia, Elijah Been, and Camelia Been.
Baldemar also leaves behind seven siblings; Sisters Juanita Ruiz, Estella Perez, Oralia Alvarez, Ida Albarran, and Brothers Jose Guzman, Ramon Guzman, and Jesse Guzman.
Baldemar was born June 17th, 1952 in Tamaliupas Mexico. He moved to California with his family, where at a young age, he learned discipline and hard work, which made him the strong, wise, handsome, and loving man he became.
Baldemar joined the Marines as soon as graduating high school in
Redlands California in 1969, serving fours years as Military Police.
Once finished as a Marine, he attended Cal State University and received his Bachelors Degree in Sociology.
Baldemar worked hard and loved his career with helping those in need.
Baldemar became a Professor at Chaffey College, helping students with disabilities in Wood Work for 5 years. Later moving to Banning California, he began working at Child Help America, helping Foster Children in need.
Baldemar later moved his family to Virginia in 1998 where he began working with Blue Ridge Behavioral Health in Roanoke, VA as a Behavioral Specialist.
He loved being outdoors, whether it be in the yard, the garden, or fixing things up around the house, camping, hiking, fishing, taking his wife and kids to the beach, as long as he was outside.
More than anything, Baldemar loved his family and spending time with the ones he loved. Everyone that crossed his path, whether it be family, friends, or stranger, he spread positivity and wisdom. With a warm soul, he made all that surrounded him laugh. He would lift you up when you were
down, taught you to work hard and never give up.
He once said " You fall a thousand times, you get back up a thousand times." He will be greatly missed by many.
Baldemar Noe Guzman was preceded in death by brother Robert Raul Guzman and his father Jose Galvan Guzman.
Services will be held at Redlands Church of Christ for family and friends Thursday December 21st, 2017 at 2pm.
Burial will be December 22, 2017 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Ca at 9:30 am.
