Andrew Michael Henry was born on August 28th, 1987 in Hemet, California, at Hemet Valley Hospital. For years, his parents, Paul Dennis Henry and Mary Jean Henry, had prayed for a third child, and when Andy was three-and-one half years old, God answered their prayers with the gift of Andrew. Andrew's second birth date was May 15, 1993, the day when Paul and Mary, and his new sister and brother, Katherine and Timothy Henry, were finally able to adopt their sweet boy.
Andy was an exuberant child, who loved to observe the world around him and comment on everything he saw and experienced. He had a mischievous smile, and loved to laugh. He was sandy-haired, with eyes that changed color with whatever he happened to be wearing that day. He loved to read and be read to as he grew up, and he enjoyed the many camping trips he went on with his family, as he rarely sat still for long and loved to run in the outdoors. As an adult, Drew loved Riverside, and his favorite shirts pictured the Raincross Bell. Andy also saw the humor in any situation, and would make us smile with his observations of life.
Andy, or Drew, as many knew him, was a people person, talking to anyone who happened to come his way. At 6'3", he could look intimidating, but Drew had a soft spot in his heart for anyone who was in trouble, and he was well-loved.
Andrew also worked as a forklift operator for Propack Logistics and was attending school so that he could work in the heating and cooling industry.
Andrew loved his family, but the two most important people in his life were his children, Darla Moon Stoot (born 10/3/2016) and Ethen Andrew Henry (born 12/27/2017). He enjoyed taking his daughter and son for walks, playing and talking with them, and celebrating holidays with them. They were the lights of his life, and he was theirs.
Andrew is survived by his two children, Ethen and Darla, his father and mother, Paul and Mary Henry, his sister, Katherine Henry, his brother, Timothy Henry-Rodriguez, his brothers-in-law, David Rodriguez-Henry, Scott Norick, and Michael Ryan, and his long-time girlfriend, Michelle Leal. Andrew was loved and admired by both family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.
