Vilma nació en El Salvador a sus padres Ambrocio y Santos Escalante. Ella fue ama de casa por más de 25 años. Lo que la llenaba de gozo era el tiempo que pasaba con su familia y sus amigos. Ella
siempre buscaba la manera de servir a los demás y ayudar en lo que pudiera. Vilma deja por su esposo y compañero de vida; Raimundo Gutierrez; sus dos hijos: Adilia Arita (Ever) y Rafael "Neto" Arita (Priscilla); y sus dos hermanos: Moises Escalante, Jose Escalante.

Ana Vilma Escalante, 54, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Ana was born to her parents Ambrocio y Santos Escalante in El Salvador. She was a resident of San Bernardino County for more than 9 years. "It's not the presence of someone that gives meaning to life, but the way someone touches your heart." Ana touched the heart of many and will be missed. Ana was a homemaker for more than 25 years. She found joy in serving others and helped those she felt needed help. The one thing that Ana loved most was the time she spent with her family and friends. She leaves behind her husband and life companion: Raimundo Gutierrez; her two children: Adilia Arita (Ever) and Rafael "Neto" Arita (Priscilla); her two brothers: Moises Escalante and Jose Escalante. Left to cherish the memory of their loving grandmother are her seven grandchildren: David, Alyssa, Katheryn, Tatiana, Gabriel, Natalie, and Hannah. Also left
behind to cherish the memory of Ana is her beloved parakeet, Chato and her beloved sister, Margarita Montelongo.
The services are under the direction of Sunset Funeral Care, located in the city of Redlands, CA. The visitation will be held at the Redlands
Church of Christ located at 1000 Roosevelt Rd, Redlands, CA 92374 on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 9:30am – 10:30am. The Funeral Service will be held from 10:30am - 11:30am. Immediately after the Funeral Service we will head over to Hillside Memorial Park located at 1540 Alessandro Rd, Redlands, CA 92373 where Ana Vilma Escalante will be laid to rest.
