Robert "Robbie" Michael Bailey, 52, of Bloomington, went to be with our Lord, on November 7, 2014.
He was born on September 26, 1962 in San Bernardino, CA, to Mary and Robert Bailey. He attended Bloomington High School and graduated from Mt.Burg High School, the Class of 1980. He worked as a Sales Representative for Napa Auto Supplies. Robert was a member of the San Bernardino County Citizens Patrol assigned to the Fontana Substation.
Robert had an excellent work ethic. He was an "old school" salesman; he prided himself on hard work and his word was as good as gold. He valued his co-workers and customer satisfaction.
He was an absolute genius at math and computers. Robbie was known to fix family members' and friends' computer and refused any payment. Even though Robbie did not have much money, he built a computer for a family who couldn't afford to purchase one for Christmas.
Robert cared for his grandmother and father until their deaths. Robert kept his promise to his father to care his mom, Mary. Robbie would make coffee and breakfast for his mother before he went to work. Robbie loved to bowl. He did team competition bowl with friends and his mom making trips to Las Vegas and Sacramento. Robbie and his mom loved the Los Angeles Lakers. He recently surprised her with courtside tickets. He bought her a Boxer puppy and they the dog "Kobe".
Robbie loved sports, especially football and basketball. His favorite NFL team was the San Francisco 49ers and NBA team was the Lakers. He was also an avid sports trivia nut. He once was a caller on ESPN"S Mike and Mike show and proved them wrong on sports trivia about the Lakers. He was an avid bowler winning many first place trophies.
Robert is survived by his mother Mary Bailey, His siblings Jerry Bailey (Jan), Joe Bailey )(Jayne), Pam Ingalls, Karen Oberlin, Ginny Bailey MacKewen (Willie), Donnie Bailey, Doug Seabolt, and Patty Bailey Silva (Joe), and his nieces and nephews Jerrie Pires (Tony), Shelley Oberlin, Jenifer Ball (Brandon), the beautiful children in his life Joseph, Evan, Zane, Grant, Drew, Bryce, Ryan, Averie, Cami and Robert. His friends, Erica, Steve, Augie.
He was preceded in death his Grandparents Ramon and Rafaela Barriga, his Father Robert, his older sister Rosemary Minyard and his baby Sister Ramona Bailey.
Services will be held at : Church of Christ, 1000 Roosevelt Rd, Redlands,CA
Viewing from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm, Rosary from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm
Catholic Funeral Mass – 10: 00am, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1115 W. Olive St., Redlands, CA burial at, Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, CA., following mass service.
Robbie's Celebration of Life reception will follow at: St. Charles Borremo Catholic Church, 11345 Spruce St., Bloomington, CA.
Robert will be laid to rest in ceremony at Green Acres Cemetery alongside her loving Grandparents Ramon and Rafaela Barriga, Father Robert and Sisters Rosemary Minyard and Ramona Bailey.
