Petronila B. Valtierra "Nila" was orn on May 31, 1924 in San Bernardino California to Clara and Conrado. She passed away in National City on August 26, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Nila attended San Bernardino High School and then married Julian Valtierra in 1959 in Irapuato, Guanajuato and had a daughter, Maria.
Nila was a member on the Lion's club and Our Lady of Guadalupe School.
She will be forever missed by her husband of 56 years, Julian; her daughter Maria Mejia and her sister Lydia Villanueva as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and sibling Gumercindo Baltierra.
Nila was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
A visitation and Rosary will be held Monday August 31, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 at 1000 Roosevelt Rd, Redlands, Ca 92373. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church in San Bernardino, California.
