Obituary

Mary Louise Pough passed away Tuesday December 1st, 2020 in the city of Banning.
Mary Louise shined at many things, in many ways. She glowed!!
Mary Louise was a great cook. Everyone enjoyed her cooking and baking. Her home was always welcoming with a cup of coffee, and she shared it with pride. Her kitchen is filled with Tupperware and Princess House Crystal.
Mary Louise was an excellent housekeeper. She loved to tell stories and entertain.
She loved decorating her home, and furniture was never in one place for too long. She was always ordering from Home Interiors, as well as Avon, Spiegel, Fingerhut, … oh, and don't forget Sears! Ordering was great pastime of hers.
Mary Louise's home was filled with beautiful plants, hanging throughout. People often commented of her "Green Thumb," as she always had a garden full of a variety of big health vegetables.
She was also good at sewing; she could hem, patch you up, cut out patterns and even did a little quitting.
Mary Louise was always a hard worker and always willing to help other people.
Mary Louise was a people person! She loved everyone!! Her husband, her daughter and her grandchildren.
She's seen 4 generations in her family and loves babies and children. When at first you met Mary Louise, you were instantly her friend too.
Most importantly, Mary was a child of GOD!!! She accepted JESUS as her Savior as a young woman. Jesus said to her
"I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this? John 11:25-26
"Louise," as her husband Andrew of 70 years always called her, enjoyed attending church, cooking for her family, shopping, gardening, and most of all caring for her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Andrew Lee Pough, daughter Juanita Sims, son-in-law Robert Sims; her Grandchildren Rayvin Sims, Robert Sims(Trey) and Lauren Sims; her Great-grandchildren Leilani Howard, Chloe Chanel James, and Honesty Lee Cox; and her Great-great-grandchild Kaleia Marie Hosanna Burton-Gilmore.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and by all who were blessed to know her.
