Jason Ray Pompa was born on Valentines Day, February 14th, 1983, a fitting day for his birth considering the passion and love he had for others.
Jason held God and family high above all else, and he had an immense joy and talent for music.
Over the years, Jason made many friends who he considered family. In 2007, Jason joined the United States Army and completed two tours of duty; one in Iraq, and one in Afghanistan. While serving his country, Jason made new bonds and lasting friendships.
For his service, Jason was awarded both a Commendation medal and Good Conduct medal. He finished his service in Germany and returned home in October 2011.
Jason continued his education and was in the process of transferring to California Polytechnic University, majoring as a Computer Systems Information Specialist.
Jason's favorite pastimes were hanging out with his younger siblings and parents; playing guitar games; and enjoying deep conversations about God, life and theories regarding many subjects.
Jason was funny, passionate, and talented.
In the month of June 2020, at the young age of 37, Jason unexpectedly passed away from this earth into the loving arms of Jesus.
Jason is survived by his mother Teresa Neff; father Ray Pompa; siblings Andria Rivera, Alex Rivera, Rachel Neff, Joshua Neff and Jacob Neff; nieces and nephew Alex, Jazmine and Selah; grandparents Lena and Joe Shephered, and Marilyn and Joseph Pompa; as well as uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
