James Randolph "Randy" Bliss passed away Friday, May 8th, 2020 in the city of Banning.
Randy was born on May 15th, 1944 in the city of San Bernardino, to parents Virginia (Churchill) and Delbert Bliss from Idaho.
Randy met and married the love of his life, Nikki, and on March 18th, 1978, they were married in the city of Redlands, where they made their home, family and life together.
Together Randy and Nikki shared a beautiful family; sons John Bliss, Jim Bliss, Eric Sanchez, and daughters Cher Bliss and Wendy Cervantes. They also shared 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother Michael Bliss, and sister in law Beverly Bliss.
Randy was a police officer with the city of San Bernardino from 1968-1982, followed by 21 years in Public Safety from 1989-2010. He was a great patriot and he loved his country!
Randy loved life, he loved his family!! He enjoyed playing softball with his sons, watching his grandsons play baseball, going to Dodger games, or just riding his bike for miles. He loved concerts and playing Fantasy Football. Randy loved the ocean, and his family vacations with those he loved so much!
Randy will be dearly missed, by family, by friends, and all those who were blessed to have known him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date yet to be determined.
