Fidel "Phil" Rangel Colunga passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the city of Redlands. Fidel was born to parents Jessie Rangel of El Centro, California, and Fidel Colunga of San Bernardino, California.
He is survived by his four children: three daughters; Jenny Lizarde, Jessie Ryan, and Allison Colunga, and son, Scott Colunga; , siblings: three brothers Henry Bresciani, David Perez, and Tim Perez, and sister Cindi Sutt.
Phil attended San Bernardino Valley College in 1970, earning an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. For 45 years, he worked as an Radiology Technician, most recently at Redlands Community Hospital.
Fidel was a dog lover, car enthusiast , leather worker , history buff, skilled craftsman, an avid film goer, and a watch collector. He always took pride in his appearance and enjoyed dressing sharp. He could always be found with a comb in his back pocket.
He is loved and missed by many!!
