Doris Eugenia Boardman passed away Thursday, October 17th, 2019 in the city of Calimesa. She was born October 14, 1921 in Sulfur Springs Texas, to parents Ella Glen Shepard and William Frederick Glosup, both of Texas.
One of nine children, she grew up with her 4 brothers; Newman, Bill, Joe, and Ted Glosup, and her 5 sisters; Irene (Brister), Wanda (Quaid), Bernice (Nolan), Betty (Newell) and Kathy (Jetton).
Doris has three loving children; son John Boardman, and two beautiful daughters; Diane Christensen, and Cynthia Harrison.
Doris was a Librarian. She first completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Library Science from Texas College for Women, with a minor in English. She then went on to obtain her Master's degree in Library Science from USC. Doris retired from Crafton Hills College in 1980.
Doris will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
