Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Billie Faye Freeman, 89 of Highland, CA passed away peacefully on February 20, 2016. Billie was born one of sixteen children on January 26, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas to E. B. and Lela Blanche Hill. She married the love of her life, M.H. (Shorty) Freeman on December 27, 1944 and together they raised 3 children. Billie retired from Patton State Hospital in 1987 and spent her retirement years enjoying her family, numerous hobbies, traveling and playing bingo. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Shorty in 1982. She is survived by her children, Monty (VI) Freeman, Tony (Cathie) Freeman and Judi (Terry) Schafman, her sisters Anna Mae Newby, Lela McKenzie and Pat Martin, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services are on February 25, 2016 at Redlands Church of Christ.
